Yamaha YFM 700R Raptor - Road Legal Quad Bike

I decided it was time to experience something special too little. I wasted some time with me to try some of the quad bike for high-end and see how it went on the road and on road and off.

First, if they try to decide what I wanted to try year, I went to talk to a couple of people who have experienced quad for many. Once I had all the bases, including those seeking to obtain, off I went with my legal credentials, so I test drive a fewmotion to see how they were.

Yamaha has been injected recently, the old 660, there is no fuel injection system for the 700R exchanged single camshaft in the head - and boy, were as different in examining side by side.

I tried the 660 had about 2000 miles and sounded like some small stones in the exhaust system, created while he was sitting idle. But as soon as you raised the speed from 800rpm minimum noise fumble missing children.

I pulled my helmet andGloves and left, rolling to tame the street in motion to get a feel for the handling, response and grip des Before the impression was that it felt very soft and moved to the front end a good deal, but could be disposed of safely, and only for a few pounds.

After crossing some roads and some areas I thought it was great fun, had all the necessary courage and it worked very well on different surfaces.

Within an hour I was back toAutohaus begging for the 700R, as my thoughts were very much: "The small error I noticed was that he would do this easily on the new model!"

Wrong!

The engine sounds strikingly different, and had only about 300 miles less than the 660 I drove last fall. Cover and slipped on my street was the same as before.

Oh my God, he had done something wrong surely Yamaha - the quad bike was handling like Bambi on ice!

E 'wasterrible ride in a straight line and needed some serious changes to break the front and directed me to take the side of the road - but this was set incorrectly and the apprentice was tracking the wrong?

It did not seem to be the case. After returning to the dealership I talked seriously with the technical guys and they confirmed the terrible nature of the operation and invited me, a "modified" to try to get the true feeling.

Fortunately, oneHand and within minutes I was gone, and evidence is the same or probably saw seemed a bit 'less - but that it was.

This was so different, he had and went towards it wanted. Wonder that unlike my previous experience, the bike jumps and it was much more stable on the road as a plus, you can lift the front is accelerated away.

Off-Road was a blast full, there was a feeling of complete stabilityWhen you press the back-end as she turned and without fear that it would raise it to one side.

My mind has been made, I returned to the dealer and put my agenda. These are the changes that have been carried out to test the bike I have:

Both the front and light shock was wrapped in Nice and firm, so there was very little rest.
Two-inch spacer was placed on the rear wheels, creating stability
Both had read the front suspension and dropped threeCm. This was what was the front-end grip the asphalt is so strong that as you went in the> ditch

The total cost of the adjustments was to 180GBP - probably the best price I could and spent the wheel.
